Assigning loads

  1. Assigning dead& Live Loads
  2. Assigning the wall loads
  3. Meshing of Slab
  4. Assigning seismic load
  5. Assigning load combination

  1. Assigning dead& Live Loads

Assign dead Load

  • Go to plan view
  • Select similar stories from bottom layer of etabs.
  • Select the slabs that we want to assign to dead load (1.5KN/M^2) except Staircase slab & shear wall
  • After selection
  • Go to Assign tab
  • Shell loads
  • Uniform
  • Put the value at load : 1.5 KN/M^2 ( For residential building D.L=1 as per Code)
  • Load pattern name : Dead
  • Ok

To assign dead load in staircase

  • Select Staircase slab
  • Go to Assign tab
  • Shell loads
  • Uniform
  • Put the value at load : 5 KN/M^2 ( For residential building 3KN/M^2 as per Code)
  • Load pattern name : Dead
  • Ok

Now, go to Top storey by Up Arrow Icon

  • For top slab (there will be water tank with capacity 10000 ltr) so we should change the value from Liter to KN & we should assign the load as a point loads at corners of slab.

  • Before assigning & selecting the Joint
  • Select One stories= Top storey from bottom layer of etabs
  • Select the corner joints
  • Go to assign Tab
  • Joint loads
  • Force
  • Force : Global Z = -25 KN (from Calculation)

Assign Live load/Imposed Load

  • Go to plan view
  • Go to Assign tab
  • Clear Display of Assign
  • Change to Similar stories from bottom layer
  • Select the slabs where you want to assign a live loads except ( Shear wall) make sure that staircase will be also selected .
  • Go to assign
  • Shell loads
  • Uniform
  • Load pattern name: Live
  • Load : 5 KN/M^2 (For Residential Building: Chose Live<=3 if defined and put 5KN/M^2  for Roof ,3 KN/M^2   for Balcony & Stair and 2 KN/M^2  for other area as per Code)
  • Direction: Gravity
  • Ok

Assign Live load in cantilever Slab:

  • Select Cantilever Slabs
  • Go to assign
  • Shell loads
  • Uniform
  • Load pattern name: Live
  • Load : 2 KN/M^2
  • OK

2.Assign Wall Load

  • Go to Define tab
  • Load patterns
  • Load pattern name: Masonry
  • Type : Super dead
  • Self wt. Multiplier : 0
  • Click on Add new load
  • Ok

Select the frame line (Where you want to assign Masonry loads)

  • Go to assign tab
  • Frame loads
  • Distributed
  • Load pattern name: Masonry
  • Uniform Load > load :12 KN/M ( wt = Gamma X Volume of wall)
  • If there is Opening take 80% value (=12X0.8) =10 KN
  • If there is Partion wall take =12/2=6 KN
  • If there is partion wall with opening take=(12X0.8)/2 KN
  • If there is parapet wall assign it also.
  • Apply
  • Ok

  3. Today, customers using traditional debit and credit cards must sell their cryptocurrency in exchange for fiat and transfer funds to their bank accounts. This technical paper is written by Visa’s crypto research and engineering teams and is aimed at companies interested in exploring programmable payments and money. Shake, the service that creates VISA debit cards you can load with bitcoin, is opening beta testing to the public. A bunch of new features is also on the way to complement the service. It’s as simple as it sounds. Bitcoin debit cards help bridge the Bitcoin world with traditional finance. You can simply load a debit card with bitcoins or altcoins and spend them at almost any credit card accepting merchant. Each bitcoin is divisible to the 8th decimal place, meaning each bitcoin can be split into 100,000,000 pieces. Each unit of bitcoin, or 0.00000001 bitcoin, is called a satoshi.

Now that you know about all the top cryptocurrency options in India, you can make an informed investment decision. Remember, cryptos are inherently volatile and aiming for long-term investment is the best way to go.  It’s unclear whether authorities will restore UPI access to crypto exchanges but doing so would lend credibility to the space while making it much easier for retailers to start or continue trading on crypto exchanges. Yes, you can invest in cryptocurrencies using Indian currency, but you cannot use cash for the payment. Every investor needs a bank account linked to the crypto account to add money and make a digital payment. Only KYC-approved users can make such payments. Investors should note that exchanges charge some fees when you make an investment and redeem it. The fee levied may vary from one exchange to another, and from one currency to another.

  4. Over the last 24 hours, SOL’s trading volume has decreased by about 23.38%, indicating an increase in short-selling activity and more intense selling pressure from sellers. As a result, buyers must work harder to purchase SOL, but the number of buyers is gradually decreasing. SOL’s price is moving above the 20,50,100,200 Days Daily Moving Averages. US stocks rallied last week after the Senate passed a bipartisan deal to extend the $31.4 trillion debt ceiling. At the same time, the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics job report… Solana is a scalable, decentralized, and programmable blockchain. It facilitates transactions of its native SOL coin as well as digital assets like non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as well as SPL tokens. Solana’s founder, Anatoly Yakovenko, created the project in 2017 intending to increase the scalability of a cryptocurrency blockchain without sacrificing decentralization or security.

Additionally, 3Commas’ recently created crypto signals and academy divisions inject valuable extra resources. And while past security lapses linger, present measures align well with Bitsgap’s already robust protocols. Define your marketplace fees or allow free trading for your community in the first half of 2022, Otiumber Limited, a major fine and demi-fine jewelry brand, and Hunza G, a UK-based firm designing sustainable swimwear labels, joined hands for creating gold hoops. The move will help in increasing the sale of demi-fine jewelry in Europe. New product launches are also likely to influence the expansion of the global market space in the forecasting years. If we analyse closely, based on our interpretation of societal mores and democratic principles, these acts of hatred against one particular religious community seems to be a part of a broader agenda of targeting Muslims by far-right groups across Europe and elsewhere, too.
