 What is the Unit Weight and Why it is important?

Unit Weight is also known as Specific weight. it is the weight of the material per unit volume.As we realize that the volume is evaluated runit weight of materialsegarding liters or  m3 and weight is estimated as far as Kg or KN. The Unit weight of materials is the heaviness of material/unit volume which implies the Unit weight is Denoted  in Kg/L or  KG/m3 or KN/m3.
